Your Questions, Answered

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form, email us directly, or pick up the phone and call! We’ll guide you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

  • We offer several opportunities to discuss your project and design ideas before any commitment to move forward with the design process. Our retainer fee varies based on the scope of work but typically ranges from $2,500 to $5,000. Once the retainer is received, we transition into the design and planning phase of the project. A portion of the retainer is credited toward your cabinetry purchase, with the remaining balance applied to our Design & Service fee.

  • We guide you through all selections and decisions related to your kitchen, bathroom, and beyond. Working one-on-one, we help you choose items such as countertops, hardware, and tile. If a product isn’t offered in our showroom, we’re happy to point you in the right direction for sourcing.

  • Our primary focus is the design and specification of cabinetry, so items such as upholstery and window treatments fall outside our typical scope of work. That said, we have an exceptional network of interior designers we can collaborate with to help complete a space when needed.

  • We do not sell fixtures such as faucets and sinks.  We often assist with specifying these items to ensure fit and function for our clients.  We typically recommend plumbing showrooms to purchase these items from directly.

  • We thoughtfully curate our cabinetry selections based on several key factors. As a small business, we prioritize quality, value, variety, and reliability. This approach also allows us to build strong, long-standing relationships with our suppliers—ultimately benefiting both Robinwood and our clients.
